Worship Leading Intensive
Learn to use your musical gifts to lead congregational worship! This summer-long intensive will prepare you to lead worship in a variety of settings.
The intensive will focus on developing every worship leader in 3 key areas:
• Spiritual maturity and Biblical perspective
• Musicianship/Ear-Training
• Leadership development
Participants will:
• Form and lead small worship teams consisting of their fellow classmates
• Learn to build strategic worship sets
• Acquire the ability to create musical and spiritual "flow" in worship
• Engage in group discussions on important worship ministry topics
• Develop a unique worship leadership vision and mission statement
Ages 13-adult
4-8 students
Prerequisite:
Basic proficiency on piano or guitar
Vocal confidence
Ability to read chord charts

Beginning Guitar Intensive
Have you always wanted to play an instrument? This summer is your time! After immersing yourself weekly all summer in instruction and application you WILL be able to play guitar! There are two accelerated learning groups: one for kids and one for teens.
Develop a basic foundation in:
•proper guitar technique
•music and chord theory
•ear-training and arranging
•transposition and using a capo
•interpreting tablature
•beginning finger picking, flat picking, and strumming techniques
Learn rhythm and dynamics by playing with your peers and grow in your overall understanding of music through your exposure to guitar!
The program will culminate in a performance. Must have own guitar.
4-8 students/intensive

Ages 9-12:
Will meet June 9-August 25 every Thursday from 4:00-5:00. Culiminating performance on August 25th.
Ages 13-18:
Will meet June 7-August 23 every Tuesday from 5:00-6:00. Culminating performance on August 23rd.
